The Romantic HOTEL Schweizerhof was founded by a Swiss businessman in October 1995 and is still owned and managed privately. Due to its roots the hotel feels obliged to represent the well-known Swiss quality and hospitality also in Gyor. The group of buildings of the hotel consists of three separated buildings which form a little street of unique atmosphere. Rich vegetation and the terrace with sun shades invite you to enjoy the delicious cuisine and relish the calming antique atmosphere of the old town while drinking a glass of wine. The air-conditioned rooms with bathroom are fitted up with minibar, telephone, partly high speed internet and colour-TV. Each room is furnished in individual colours and impresses with special attractiveness and atmosphere.

by taxi: costs appr. EUR 90,00. By car: take the motorway M1/E60 towards Vienna/Gyoer. Exit 'Gyoer Centrum'. The main street 'Hauptstrasse' takes you directly into Gyoer; at the second traffic lights on level with the petrol station turn left into 'Munkácsy Street' and follow the hotel route; go straight until you reach the roundabout in front of the bridge; take the first exit into 'Zechmeister Street'; follow the hotel route straight on until you see a bridge to your left and the 'Becsi Kapu square' to your right; cross the square and turn into the last small lane 'Király Street'; further on to the drinking fountain, drive around and take the first opportunity left; at the end of the street you will see the Hotel Schweizerhof with its underground car park.

Leave the guildhall to your right; at the traffic lights turn left into the main street; second traffic lights turn into 'Munkácsy Street' and follow the hotel route; go straight until you reach the roundabout in front of the bridge; take the first exit into 'Zechmeister Street'; follow the hotel route straight on until you see a bridge to your left and the 'Becsi Kapu square' to your right; cross the square and turn into the last small lane 'Király Street'; further on to the drinking fountain, drive around and take the first opportunity left; at the end of the street you will see the Hotel Schweizerhof with its underground car park.
